Easy Trout in Onion/Mushroom Sauce

2 fresh trout 

2 1/2 tbsp. butter 
1 box of  diced mushrooms 
1 dice medium onion
1 cup half and half
Salt and pepper to taste

Saute onions and mushrooms until onions
begin to turn brown

Add the trout and the half and half and 
simmer trout until done.   Do not overcook.
 
Deglaze pan and pour the mushroom/onion
cream sauce over the trout. 

Serve.
