Thank you for visiting UK Fly Fishing Clubs. We are all volunteers for a non profit, public service organization devoted to the promotion of Fishing and the protection of our fishing resources and the preservation of fishing habitats for use by all people. Please scroll down to learn more.

English Clubs

• Amwell Magna Fishery
  Established in 1841, this is the oldest fly fishing club in the UK. Provides detailed history, information about the river, entomology, links and image downloads.

• Confederation of English Flyfishers
  Governing Body for competitive fly fishing, provides constitution, events calendar and rules, and lists officers and delegates.

• Crediton Fly Fishing Club
  Small-stream "fly only" club in Devon. Contains photos, fly swaps, catch statistics, and restoration projects.

• Dorchester Fishing Club
  Private fly fishing club founded in 1877. Waters consist of about 7 miles of wild brown trout & grayling fishing in the Frome and Cerne rivers.

• England Ladies Fly Fishing Association
  Includes championship details, match rules, forum, events calendar, newsletters, hints and tips, and picture galleries.

• England Youth Flyfishers Association
  National organization for anglers from 12 to 17 years old. Runs an annual national championships and enters teams for world and international matches.

• Grafham Water Fly Fishers Association
  Cambridge, based club fishing for rainbow and brown trout. Includes pictures of trophy fish, map, permit information, and descriptions of flies.

• Invicta Fly Fishing, Cambridge
  Salmon and Trout Association affiliated club based in Harston, Cambridgeshire. Includes meeting dates, competitions, photographs, recipes, history, and maps.

• Mitre Angling Club
  Limited membership club provides fishing on the Ribble and Wharfe rivers, and two stillwaters in Lancashire and Yorkshire.

• Ouse Valley Sussex FlyFishers
  Promoting fly tying and fishing along and around the River Ouse. Contains fishery details and maps, events calendar, competition details and photo gallery.

• Rutland Water Fly Fishers
  Includes detailed descriptions of local fishieries with maps and photos. Affiliated to the Federation of Midland Fly Fishers, the Anglers Co-operative Association, and the Association of Major Fly Fishing Clubs.

• Tavy Walkham and Plym Fishing Club
  Issues permits to fish the rivers of Devon and Cornwall. Information about the rivers, wildlife, and history associated with a club dating from the 1860s.

• Teise Anglers and Owners Association
  Membership available for an 8 mile stretch of the Teise River, Kent, for brown and rainbow trout. Includes membership information, and river details.

Scotland Clubs

• Allan Water Angling Improvement Association
  Membership mainly in the Central Belt fishing the River Allan. Contains Allan Water map, biological articles, newsletters, and details of local rivers and lochs.

• Bearsden Angling Club
  Informal group based at Loch Humphrey presents membership and outing information, photo gallery, and contact details.

• Crown Fly Fishers
  Ayrshire based group who travel widely in pursuit of trout and grayling. Includes venue reports, history, member profiles and list of charitable donations.

• Grouse Bay Fishers
  Tells about Salmon fishing, where to fish, competitions, and membership information.

• Jedforest Angling Association
  offer all anglers the opportunity to fish stretches of the River Teviot near Jedburgh.

• Scottish Anglers National Association
  Works with related bodies and environmental interests to protect and enhance the Scottish aquatic environment. Activities include lobbying government agencies on issues affecting the sport, managing qualifying courses for the Scottish Game Angling Instructors Certificate, and organising national and international fly-fishing competitions.

Welsh Clubs

• Dolgellau Angling Association
  Seatrout, salmon, and trout fishing in the rivers Wnion and Mawddach, and lake Llyn Cynwch, near Dolgellau.

• Llandysul Angling Association
  How to join, help with accommodation, transport, tuition with pictures, maps and guides to 30 miles of salmon, trout and sea trout fishing on the River Teifi.
